Join Stone Arbor

The committed life is the fullest life.

We are excited you are considering becoming a member at Stone Arbor! In the New Testament, those who decided to become followers of Jesus immediately banded together and devoted themselves to one another, forming the church. The way that we, in our day, can experience the qualities we most desire from community, things like refreshment, challenge, support in times of need and recreational fun, requires commitment. Membership is the way that we invite people into that commitment with others at Stone Arbor.

The steps to become a member

There are three steps that people must go through in order to become a member. We encourage everyone to move through these at the pace that makes sense to them.

  • Next Steps is a 4-week experience to guide you on the path to growth at Stone Arbor. It takes place on Sunday mornings during 1st service. Attendance at the first week of Next Steps (Week 1: Our Story, which happens the first Sunday of every month) is required before attending the Membership Class. Click HERE to learn more.

  • 4 hour long class offered twice a year. Here, we’ll explain our beliefs in more detail and provide in-depth teaching on our core values as a church. A meal and childcare are typically provided, please see event registration for details. (Stone Arbor Preview attendance required).

  • In the final step we want to get to know you personally and give you a chance to ask questions about our church. This is typically one of the best and most encouraging parts of the process! Interviews are set up after you attend the Membership Class if you indicate that you want to move forward in the membership process.
