Fortunately, though it’s a journey that has been well traveled, and at Stone Arbor our hope is to support you on this journey. Journeying with God results in a life of meaningful growth, and change in our everyday lives, families, and communities. We want that for you.

What is Next Steps?

A 4-week experience to guide you on the path to growth at Stone Arbor. If you are new to Stone Arbor or are wanting to get connected at a deeper level you will benefit from going through this experience. During 1 hour on Sunday morning, you can learn about: 

  • Week 1 | Our Story

    Learn about the Story of Stone Arbor Church, and get to know the stories of other people who are new to Stone Arbor. You’ll also hear about our mission, values, and the story of the gospel, the central message of Christianity. Attendance at Week 1 is required for anyone wanting to become a member.

  • Week 2 | Community

    Relationships can be the source of our greatest joys and our greatest anxieties. Learn about what the Bible says about our relationships and be challenged to handle your relationships God’s way.

  • Week 3 | Serve

    Christianity is not a spectator sport. God has gifted you and wants you to serve others and be a contributing part of the church community. Learn about ways you can serve and be challenged to leverage those gifts to benefit others.

  • Week 4 | Grow

    One question that likely you have is, “how can I grow here?” We’ll share what the Bible has to say about the goal of our spiritual growth, how it explains we grow and mature, and then how the opportunities you have to do that at Stone Arbor.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • If you are new to Stone Arbor or want to get connected at a deeper level you will benefit from going through this experience.

  • This happens every week during first service (9:00am) on Sunday mornings. You can sign up ahead of time to let us know, or just show up if you forgot! Click here to sign up and find out more details.

  • We have our Stone Arbor Kids ministry available at both of our Sunday morning services. So while you attend Next Steps, you can take your kids (age 0 – 6th grade) there!

  • No! We encourage you to come to the class as soon as you are able. The content builds off of one another, so we recommend going through them sequentially. But you can jump in whenever you are able to.

  • That’s OK. These classes will be offered on an ongoing basis. So if you miss a week this month, then it will be available next month.
